Elementary Mandarin for Novice Learners

Prerequisites: None
Class size: No more than 3 students
Duration: Total 10 weeks, 15 hours
Time: Every Saturday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM
Starting Date: August 16
Location: Tutor's home and Arlington Central Library
Tuition: $350 (program tuition is due in full on the first day of class)
Learning materials: Integrated Chinese, Level 1 Part 1, 2nd Edition, Simplified Character Ed. All the materials are required and can be purchased through the instructor.

Introductory Business Chinese for Professionals

Prerequisites: None. Designed for those with no prior knowledge of Chinese. Ideal for business professionals, travelers, and others doing business in or with China. Covers basic interactions and business-related social exchanges (visiting a factory, shopping, dining out, making appointments, thanking hosts, etc.). Taught in Pinyin romanization and simplified Chinese characters.

Intermediate Mandarin

Prerequisites: One year of Chinese instruction, ability to recognize 250+ characters, familiarity with basic sentence structures.
Class size: 2 students
Duration: Total 10 weeks, 10 hours
Time: Every Friday from 1:30 to 2:30 PM
